Quality & Accreditation

LABHOH consists of four departments: Pre-Analysis, Clinical Chemistry & Haematology, Pathology and Medical Microbiology. Quality assurance is leading and is a continuous process. We are quality driven and we are transparent about that.

The Medical Microbiology department is accredited in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 15189:2012 under registration number: M321 by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA). This standard focuses in particular on the expertise, impartiality, independence and improvement culture of conformity assessment organizations. This standard is accepted in almost all countries worldwide.

The RvA carries out a control assessment every year and a reassessment once every four years to see whether the medical microbiology department still meets the accreditation requirements. After each assessment, a decision is made by the RvA on whether the medical microbiology department may use the accreditation mark. View the scope of Medical Microbiology:

The department of Clinical Chemistry & Haematology and Pathology is finalizing the implementation of the quality system in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 15189:2012. Formal accreditation is pending.
