Working at our laboratory

We are located less than a 5-minute walk from the beautiful white beaches of Aruba. We are part of the Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital, a general hospital pursuing constant improvement of quality and safety. At all times is the patient our main focus.

Work and residence permit

In order to be able to work and live in Aruba as a foreign citizen, you’ll need a valid work and residence permit. Obtaining this permit requires quite some documents and time. Relocation and accommodation

(Temporarily) moving to Aruba from another country involves quite some organizing. The hospital will assist you in making the relocation process easier. We will give you all the necessary information concerning all that has to be arranged to be able to move to Aruba. Costs to obtain the work and residence permit will be reimbursed by the hospital, and you will also receive an allowance for the costs of settling. You will be assisted in the process of accommodation and other related affairs.

Family

Aruba is a fantastic island to live for children, youngsters, adults, and the elderly. The island has something for everyone! This is the reason Aruba is known as “One Happy Island”.

Each day approximately 22,000 students receive education in over 80 schools. Classes are taught in Dutch and secondary education examinations are equal to the ones given in the Netherlands.
