Quality & Accreditation

LABHOH consists of four departments: Pre-Analysis, Clinical Chemistry & Haematology, Pathology, and Medical Microbiology. Quality assurance is central to our work and is a continuous process. We are committed to maintaining high standards and full transparency.

All four departments are accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (Raad voor Accreditatie, RvA) in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 15189:2022 under accreditation numbers M321, M337 and M338. This internationally recognized standard emphasizes expertise, impartiality, independence, and a culture of continuous improvement.

The Dutch Accreditation Council conducts annual surveillance assessments and a full reassessment every four years to verify continued compliance with accreditation requirements. Following each assessment, the RvA determines whether the departments may continue to use the accreditation mark.

Only tests included in the accredited scope of LABHOH are covered by this accreditation. The scope specifies which examinations are accredited per department.

Please note: Tests performed by referral laboratories fall outside the accreditation scope of LABHOH. The accreditation status of each test is clearly indicated and visible to both patients and requesters, ensuring full transparency.
